What was the primary reason for the economic boom that occurred in the United States after World War II

Part of the U.S economy was destroyed, so after the war, they started to rebuild the economy by building factories and enterprises. That helped money flow and the result was a healed economy. That combined with trading helped make an economic boom.

After WWII the United States experienced great economic growth and during this period the US consolidated its position as the world’s richest country. The main reason for the growth was the automobile industry that quadrupled its production from 1946 to 1955 and the rise in defense spending because of the Cold War.
