I'm going to guess on your unmentioned following and say that it is not derived from beans, eggs, milk, and so on because a lipid is an oily, greasy and waxy molecule found inside of a body. Lipids can normal be extracted from cells using non-polar solvents such as chloroform or benzene. Hope this helped!
