Explain why a square can never be a trapezoid

A square can never be a trapezoid because a trapezoid doesn't have all equal sides and vertices while a square has 4 sides of the same length and four angles of the same length. Also, a trapezoid has no set of parallel lines while a square has two sets of parallel lines.
