1 cup = 8 ounces

2 quarts = 8 cups = 64 ounces
64 ounces/4 people = 16 ounces is the answer

8 ounces because 1 quart equals 36 ounces. 36 Divided by her and her 3 friends equals 8 since 36 divided by four equals eight.
