Diana is painting statues. she has 7/8 of a gallon of paint remaining. each statute requires one 1/16 of a gallon of paint .how many statues can she paint?

1 1/16=17/16
Step 1:
Cross multiply
7/8×1=7/8
Step 2:
7/8÷17/16=14/17 statue. As a result, she paints 14/17 statue. Hope it help!
