I believe "the increase of child labor in the United States" is the correct answer. The photo above seems to demonstrate the growing number of working children.

The correct answer is “the increase in child labor in the United States”.

In the US by 1900s child labor was more predominant in the American South than in the North, around 1.7 million children under age were employed, most commonly employed in textile factories, coal mines, glass factories, canneries and other types of work. The North started to pass laws that regulated child labor and this way factories moved to the South.
