Vertically organize the problems
( -4x^2-2x-1)
- ( 3x^3 +2)
Eliminate the minus sign by multiplying by -1
-1(3x^3 +2)
This is the new problem
( -4x^2-2x-1)
+ (-3x^3 -2)

Simplify any terms, then this is the answer
-3x^3-4x^2-2x-3
This is how I got it, but if there are any other answers, feel free to share
