A prism has a total surface area of 228 m2 and volume of 216 m3.

If the length, width, and height are reduced to one-third their original sizes, what will be the following?

(a) the new surface area
(b) the new volume

If the length, width, and height of the original are increased to four times their original sizes, what will be the following?

(c) the new surface area
(d) the new volume

I'm sorry, but if you could help explain it to me that would be great.

Multiply by 1/3 to reduce.
228*1/3=76m^2
216*1/3=72m^3

Multiply by 4 to increase.
228*4=912m^2
216*4=864m^3

I can explain more if you need.
