First you have to convert feet to yards so the dimensions are changes to 70 yd by 100 yd. Multiply 70 x 100 to find the area which is 700 yd²
Then set up a proportion where x is equal to the number of birds in the whole field:
(2 birds)/(1 yd) = (x birds)/(700yd)
Cross multiply to get x = 1400.
Therefore there are 1,400 birds in the field.

210 x 300 = 36000 x 2 = 126000

126000 is your answer
