In Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist, when the boy tells the oasis chieftains about his vision, the leader tells a story about Joseph, the dream interpreter. Joseph was from Egypt and he interpreted the Pharaoh's dreams which then saved them from famine. The boy, Santiago, on the other hand, dreamed about enemies approaching.
