Sadly not.

The correct answer is vous as the polite term to talk to adults is by using 'vous'

For example, saying 'Sil vous plait' to your teacher is correct (and is very common)

However, if you want to say thanks to your mate, simply say 'sil te plait'

No it is Vous because you should be speaking to someone of higher authority and in new company in a more formal context
