Write a linear equation in standard form that crosses (4,-3) and (-2,9)

y = -2x + 5
That's the answer and you find it by finding the slope by using (4,-3) and (-2,9). You subtract -3 from 9 over 4 from -2. After you find the slope which would be -2 you use the equation y-y1 = slope(x - x1). You plug in any coordinates and find the answer.
