Why is it hard for brazil to protect its rainforest and improve it's economy at he same time?

Preserving the rainforest is extremely expensive, and if you're trying to improve an economy, you've likely needed to cut back on spending. The issue is that while it's an important cause, you cannot do both in an efficient way. I hope this helped!
