The answer is 40sqrt3 because you first have to find the height of the parallelogram because height*length = area. To find the height, you drop a height from the length 10, to create a right angle triangle with hypotenuse 8. This means that the base of this triangle is 4 and the height is 4sqrt3. This means 10*4sqrt3 = 40sqrt3.
