The evolution of different plant and animal species has been one of the most mysterious elements as far as the field of science is concerned. By definition, vestigial structures are those body parts in which their functions to the body have been "Phased-out" due to the evolution. It demonstrates common ancestry because "remnants of organs or structures that had a function in an early ancestor."
