Kevin mixes paint using 8 ounces of yellow paint for every 3 ounces of white paint. At this rate, how many ounces of white paint would be mixed with 24 ounces of yellow paint?

your answer would be 9. the easiest way to solve these problems would be to see if the 2nd number is a multiple of the 1st number, then do what i demonstrated above. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
