What risk is there for a species that only reproduces by cloning

The risk for species that only reproduce by cloning is that they can be more prone to diseases, and other problems inherited by the 'parents', there is also a risk that can be found in which they wont necessarily 'evolve' to make life for themselves better, unlike humans they wont change their appearance and mind to better benefit themselves in the environment they need to be adapted to.

genetic mutations could possible happen with cloning. one bad cell would repeat
