Why did many americans object to the draft in the vietnam war?

They thought it was unfair that they had to fight for a war they didn't care about and that they didn't want to fight in. They also objected the draft because the more wealthy citizens could pay doctors to fake medical reports saying they were unfit for duty. While some chose to do that some could go to college and avoid the draft that way.
