If a cell has a deficit of DNA, what are two events could happen

Due to deficiency of DNA, a genetic disorder may be caused, or impairment of DNA repair mechanism may also occur. If this is the case in somatic cells, the problem will only occur in this generation, but if this deficiency is present in germ cells, the disease may be passed to next generations as well.
