sqrt(2x-9) =sqrt(x)
squre both sides to clear the sqrt
2x - 9 = x
subtract x from both sides
x - 9 = 0
add 9 to both sides
x = 9
CHECK
sqrt(2* 9 - 9) = sqrt 9
sqrt 9 = sqrt 9
3 = 3
