Basically, there are twelve principles which are involved and they are- Objective, Offensive, Mass, Economy of Force, Maneuver, Unity of Command, Security, Surprise, Simplicity, Restraint, Perseverance, Legitimacy.
In joint operations, every department is involved including, State, Defense, FBI, Homeland Security and Office of the President. So, all the principles are used in such tasks.
