`(1)/(2)` divided by 4. When you divide fractions you flip it and multiply. So 4 as a fraction is
`(4)/(1)`. When you flip it you get
`(1)/(4)`. So now we multiply:


`( (1)/(2))( (1)/(4)) = (1)/(8)`
When you multiply fractions, you multiply across the top and across the bottom. So 1 times 1 is 1, and 2 times 4 is 8 so your answer is each person gets
`(1)/(8)`th of the pan.
