Based on the given introduction above, I can say that what it lacks is a HOOK. This can be improved by adding a hook. What we mean by hook in writing is a one or two-sentenced introduction which serves as an attention grabber for the readers in order for them to continue reading. Knowing that this is an argumentative essay, the beginning should always be convincing. Hope this helps.
