Example: I know a guy who beat a case several years ago, a few days later the prosecutor found something else to charge him with. Rather than spend the money on another trial, he just pled guilty to the misdemeanor. He beat his case, it p###d off the prosecutor, so he found some minor charge to have him charged again.
