d. I felt my eardrums burst into a million pieces.

Answers b and c do not address the question, and answer d is a more detailed description than answer a.

When you use Vivid description, you describe something as if you are standing there, appealing to the senses, eyes, nose, ears, skin, etc. basically, when you use it you want the reader play with all their senses, as if they were feeling it as it is happening. Option D “I felt my eardrums burst into a million pieces” best reflects this description.
