It is the electromagnetic spectrum that best describes electromagnetic waves moving from very low wavelength but high energy gamma rays to very long wavelength but much lower energy radio waves. In-between these two extreme numerous types of electromagnetic wave can be found, including visible light and infra-red radiation.
