Enter the molecular formula for butane, C4H10.

This is a combustion reaction so there is a hydrocarbon + oxygen which always gives you carbon dioxide and water.
So: C4H10+O2-->CO2+H2O
The balanced equation would be:
2C4H10+13O2-->8CO2+10H2O <- so that's the molecular formula for butane.
