Well finding the slope is pretty straight forward:

Slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Or in words the slope is the change in y divided by the change in x. (in context this is the rate of change or the average velocity between two points)

In this case:

slope=(4-2)/(5-4)

slope=2/1

slope=2
