I think your answer is A Possesses a few fatal flaws that lead to his downfall because the beginning of the sentence is about a tragic hero.

The tragic hero possesses a few fatal flaws that lead to his downfall.

The tragic hero is generally the main character of a tragedy. According to Aristotle, the tragic hero possesses different flaws, also called 'errors of judgement', which provoke a reversal of fortune and; therefore, his own downfall. Moreover, the audience generally feels pity for the tragic hero due to his change of fortune. Most times, the hero of a tragedy generally dies at the end of the story. Famous tragic heroes are Oedipus and Creon, characters from Oedipus Rex and Antigone respectively.
