V1/T1 = V2/T2
T2=V2*T1/V1
T2=502*282/482
T2=293.7K

The temperature that the sample of a gas will occupy at a volume of 502 Ml is 293.7 K

calculation

This is calculated using the Charles law formula

that is V1/T1 =V2/T2

where, V1=482Ml

T1= 282 K

V2 = 502 ml

T2 = ?

make T2 the subject of the formula

T2=V2T1/V1

T2= (502 ml x282 k) /482 ml=293.7 k
