Due to the law of exponents, you will minus the numerator from the denominator. So it would be 3^(4-2). So then it would be 3^2. Which is 3 multiplied by 3, and that is 9

Multiply 3 four times (3•3•3•3 = 81) and then divide by bottom (3•3=9) so the answer is 9
