dictatorship is mainly caused due to financial insability and economic fall of a country. it is also caused due to political instability wherein there is a struggle for position in the country which leads to weak government.

The common cause is that dictators promise to improve falling economies. When in reality they are not going to, they only lie to get people to vote for them.
