How does a person get infected with hypertension?

Well, hypertension is abnormally high blood pressure. So, one can be infected by hypertension, if they have high blood pressure. When someone has blood pressure over 140/90 they are considered to have hypertension. They have severe hypertension if their blood pressure is above 180/120.
