I not sure if I did it right number 8 I did 2(x+12)=12

2x +144=12
-144
Which I got132 divided 2x and I got 69 then I realized maybe I did something wrong and I did a different process but same equation instead multiply 12x2 and subtracted and I got 12 and divided by 2 and got 6 am I doing this right
