During the Harlem Renaissance, Jamaican Marcus Garvey advocated for African Americans to A. move back to Africa.
He believed that they were strangers in a foreign country, and that they should return to their roots and continue living in their home country, which is Africa. Many of African Americans did that, but still most of them stayed in America, which became their new home.
