1 1/2 = 3/2 cups of sugar
3/2 sugar = 3/4 salt
Let's find how much salt = 1 cup of sugar
3/2 times 2/3 = 1
2/3 times 3/4= 1/2
If she uses 2 1/2 salt it is simple now.
2 1/2 = 5/2 times 1/2 gives you 5/4 = 1 1/4.
