Elli’s age in 10 years will be the same as Peggy’s age is now. Five years from now, Peggy’s age will be twice Elli’s age. What are their present ages? Please help, I don't essentially need the awnser, just I know that peggy is fifteen, but would ellie be 7 1/2??

E + 10 = P
(P + 5) = 2(E +5)

E = P -10

P + 5 = 2((P-10)+5)
P + 5 = 2P -20 + 10
P + 5 =2P - 10
-P = -15
P = 15
