What is the main benefit of hemoglobin in the blood?
The red blood cells are loaded with oxygen.
The blood transfers, via the hemoglobin contained in the red blood cells, the oxygen necessary for the functioning of the cells of our organism.
Anemia is an abnormal reduction in the level of hemoglobin in the blood. When the number of red blood cells decreases, the amount of hemoglobin also decreases.
The first signs of anemia are chronic fatigue, pallor, dizziness, shortness of breath, concentration and memory impairment, increased heart rate and headaches.
