Whenever powers are being divided, you can subtract the powers separately.
5a²/20a
You divide 5 by 20 first, so that's 0.25, then subtract 2-1 (no power visible is always 1), so your answer would be 0.25a OR

first off, multiply everything by 20a
then divide everything by 5
5a^2 + 20a
a^2 + 4a
