3 and 1/2. Imagine having 3 cookies and your friend splits one of them with you. you will hen have 3 and 1/2 to eat for yourself

I think the answer is 7/2. Which is also equal to 3.5 cookies. Because:

1/2 + 3/1
3/1 x2
1/2 + 6/2
= 7/2 = 3.5
