Till is unsorted, unstratified, bimodal sediment directly deposited by the glacial ice. When ice moves, occurs erosion of of material which forms a till. What about its geological importance, it is usually added to a landform in order to get lateral, medial ground and terminal moraines. The areas which are filled with tills are concentrated in Norway.
