What bodies of water are formed when a stagnant block of glacial ice near the terminus becomes partly or completely buried in glacial sediments, eventually melting to create a lake?

I think the body of water which is created due to the glaciers is Lake. This phenomenon is mostly common in the US. There are a lot of lakes that are formed and found in the US because of the glaciers. So, glaciers usually formed lake by allowing the buried chunks of ice to melt and even depositing material across stream beds.
