The correct answer is C) Some DNA moves from one cell to another.

Bacterial conjugation is one of the methods to express sexuality in bacteria. In conjugation, one bacterium transfers its genetic material to another bacterium through sex pilus. In the process, one bacterium becomes donor and the other conjugating partner become recipient of the genetic material. The genetic material is in the form of plasmid (extra chromosomal DNA). By getting DNA from donor, the recipient bacterium gets some sort of genetic advantage.
