explain why the landscape of Florida is flat and does not consist of geologic features like mountains and canyons.

Hi,

There isn't a tectonic plate line there. the way most mountains form is when two

tectonic plates smush up against one another.

Florida is right in the middle of a

plate, so there's nothing for it to crash into, therefore there are no mountains nor canyons.
