Should prairie dogs be used as food for endangered species? explain

If prairie dogs are over-populated/abundant, then yes (because it will be beneficial to the endangered species if native to the area/ if the prairie dogs contains the nutrients the endangered animal needs to survive), but if not, then it should not me attempted.
