Exercise can help prevent heart disease but once you've had a heart attack, it's too late for exercise to help you.

I'm not sure that this is quite accurate, but again maybe your right because it's probably the same with cancer, you can go through all the treatments and chemotherapy but that doesn't mean it won't come back in the future, so I agree exercise would probably reduce the heart problems but the person would most likely still experience them. Hope I've helped:)
