. A farmer needs to find the surface area of his cylindrical silo to determine the amount of paint needed to cover the entire surface. Find the surface area of the silo, which has a radius of 6 m and a height of 15.5m. Use 3.14 for pi. (Hint: only one base of the cylindrical silo will be painted since it is standing on the ground.)

810.12 is the answer.
3.14 x 6 x 6 = 113.04 (Base)
3.14 x 6 x 2 = 37.68 (Circumference)
37.68 x 15.5 = 584.04 (Sides)
(113.04 x 2) + 584.04 = 810.12
