In your own opinion: Should homework be banned? If so why?

I would really appreciate if a couple of people could answer this, because I'm doing a poll for my debate class to see how many people want homework banned. Thank you!

i think it should be because now a days in this society hardly anyone completes the homework, and overtime it seems homework isnt given out as much as it used too.
