A) 6^2 + 8^2 = C^2
36 + 64 = 100
Square root of 100 = 10
B) .6^2 + .8^2 = C^2
.36 + .64 = 1
Square root of 1= 1

You use the Pythagorean theorem which is a^2+b^2=c^2
So....
.8^2+.6^2=c^2
.64+.36=c^2
1=c^2
1=c becaaue the square root of one is one
