European managers, especially those in France, Germany, and Italy, tend to be more autocratic in their decision-making style when compared with managers in the United States.
This means that those managers like to make decisions on their own, and to assume "absolute power" over their subordinates, not really taking into account their opinions. As opposed to that, in the US, managers are more friendly with their subordinates and like cooperating with them.
